4-star Sunshine Rhodes is situated on the sandy pebbled beach in the ancient town of Ialyssos, 7 km from the city of Rhodes. Guests have access to a private beach, 3 pools and a tennis court.

Very Good

It was a good hotel. Food was good but with little choice and variety, so if you are ok with si ply food you will be happy.

It is really near the airport and you can hear airplanes every 10min. Very noisy, we did underestimate the proximity to the airport

Its a good place if the purpose of your visit is to travel around the island and explore, not to enjoy the hotel.

Bed is rock hard, the food in the Mamamia restaurant was awful, not worth it at all, the parking in the hotel is a disaster because the man in charge doesn’t understand english and doesnt want to let you park.

Not the perfect honeymoon

This was a honeymoon. Good location. Basic all inclusive but you get what you pay for.

Standing naked after having shower and another guest came into my room using a key given to him by reception!!! They denied they had given him the key. Incompetent! The manager sent a plastic plate of fruit , banana, apple and orange to the room as an apology! Imagine walking round the hotel and bumping into the guy every day around the hotel! Embarrassing!

What was the highlight of Sunshine Rhodes Hotel

Greek Sunshine and Sea

We were in the furthest section from the main hotel, but it meant we shared a huge swimming pool with only 32 other rooms. Pool was never crowded and we always had loungers. Also a pool bar to ourselves as no one who wasn't in our section would use it. The room itself was better than expected. It had 2 rooms with the bathroom area between the two, so kids will be separated from parents, unlike one room with a sleeper couch, which is what we were expecting. Food was good. Great selection and variety daily. Breakfast was pretty much the same each day, enough variety to change it up if you want. When they say beach front hotel, you couldn't get closer. The water was 20 meters from the pool area. Would definitely stay here again

The entertainment was pretty uninspiring, but maybe just me. There is a bit of shopping and restaurants very nearby so we walked around there in the evening. TV was not worth having in the room. We watched Netflix on a laptop. The beds were very firm... My wife and daughter did not sleep well despite requesting a new mattress or pillow, these did not come.

Honestly, the buffet room was crowded maybe a bit IMO undersized, sometimes waiting for plates or glasses to be replaced etc., resulting in queues. Besides, we didn't enjoy the meals much, either. Lastly - and not this hotel specific - it's not a quite location by no means, as it is in live with the nearby airport.

Great facilities and 3 good sized pools. The service was excellent, always with a smile!

Buffet did not have as many vegetarian options as we would've liked. Local drinks served could be a lot better in taste and quality.

Good location, nice pool and bar, poor rooms and food.

Pool, bar, and location right on the beach is great. Plenty of sun loungers around the pools and on the beach. Excursions and car rental at the hotel was handy. Beautiful sea view from the balcony of our room. Reception also has a great system to book taxis and all taxis across the island are reasonable. I would strongly suggest the waterpark and to rent a car for the day from 8am - 8pm for 60€ to explore the island - definitely the best day of our holiday.

The rooms, particularly the bathroom and AC, were bad. Often our bathroom would stink of sewers/drains because of the vent on the floor. After a shower, our floor would flood up through the vent on the floor. AC is old and useless. The food was also very disappointing. Every day was exactly the same at every meal and the quality of the food and choice generally was extremely poor. We would have the same breakfast, then pizza or hot dog at the snack bar for lunch, then would go out locally or to the Old Town (20 mins taxi) to restaurants at night. Not ideal when we’ve already paid for all-inclusive at the hotel, but restaurants are reasonably priced and food was excellent. This hotel is 10 minutes from the airport and on the flight path of inbound flights.

Good value for money, excellent location and friendly staff!

Pool facilities are really good and spacious, beach front with amazing location. Nice variety of food.

Cleaning schedule is really poor, towels change only 2x week and toilet leaks water everywhere after shower. The “room cleaning service” consists only on changing the bins and making the bed, no floors or dirt were touched making the environment very dirty if you’re staying over a week. Food was good but could have been better focusing on greek cuisine, also didn’t like the fact they take too long refill the container so you need to arrive early to get it fresh and hot. Alcohol served was not good quality, only beers and the Ouzo was ok.

NO PARKING AREA FOR HOTEL GUESTS !!!!!!! Too old furniture in rooms !!! Cleaning can be better , especially outside wc ! Cheap products for drinks and food

Staff were always polite and doing their best for the facilities they have available.

Room are very badly renovated. Maybe new furniture's but old mattresses. The bathroom was old style and the water drainage on the floor presented a terrible dirty view just almost in the center. The hotel is barely a three star hotel. The only good is their staff. All the others need to be fixed from scratch.
